An update for Beko customers on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Shopping Online for items deemed essential by the New Zealand Government are

still available through some of our retail partners during the current lockdown.

For further information on delivery availability to your area please contact your online retailer.

 

 


On the Governments advice, effective from Thursday, 26 March 2020, our offices in New Zealand will be closed until further notice. We hope to re-open as soon as possible and will continue to assist our customers in any way we can via phone, email or website – beko.co.nz


During this time you can still shop for Beko products online through some of our retail partners. Please refer to our online retail partners for deliveries and product availability in your area at this time.

Stock Movements

Due to the restrictions around services, we will continue to experience delays on all large items sent by our freight company. We are taking advice from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) on our ability to provide freight movements and will continue to update our advice accordingly.

 

Customer Care Centre
With COVID-19 impacting our community, Beko has adjusted its practices to protect the health and wellbeing of our people, while still continuing to provide support to our customers. As such, our call centre is now operating with limited resources and wait times for calls may be longer than usual.


To alleviate long call wait times you can alternatively contact our Customer Care Team via beko.care@beko.com. Please understand that due to the volume of enquiries we are receiving, we are likely to take longer than usual to respond to you. However, we do endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible.

Due to the current lockdown the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) have recently updated their advice to now include the products we manufacture as deemed essential items - "kitchenware and appliances". The latest advice from the MBIE regarding the servicing of our products in people's homes is as follows :

 

"Service providers who repair or install essential goods may continue to operate where repair or installation is necessary to keeping an essential good operating. Consumers can make a decision about when it is appropriate to engage a repairer or seek a replacement."

 

The situation is still very fluid and we will continue to update our advice accordingly.

 

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

As more information comes to light, we will shift our approach with regards to COVID-19 and update our website accordingly.
