Beko creates the world’s first two Beko Healthy Kitchens as part of the brand’s industry-leading sustainability initiative that seeks to replace the reputation of the kitchen from a top energy offender to the center of a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
Beko Healthy Kitchens will be equipped with 16 of Beko’s latest, most tech-advanced cooking, cooling, and cleaning appliances featuring the Environmental Protection Agency’s highest ENERGY STAR® ratings for electrical efficiency plus proprietary technologies designed to provide tangible health, wellness, and sustainability benefits.
HarvestFresh™
HarvestFresh™ is the next evolution in Beko’s ongoing commitment to empowering Americans to adopt a healthier lifestyle and a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. The proprietary 3-color light technology simulates the 24-hour cycle of the sun inside the crisper drawer. By mimicking a full day of sunshine, the produce has been proven to retain its vitamins and minerals longer than ordinary refrigerators*.

Beko RecycledTub Washers
We have launched a new line of Beko washers that feature RecycledTub™ washtubs, which are made of 60 recycled plastic water bottles. From 2017 to 2021 washtubs have reused 58 million recycled plastic bottles and reduced CO2 emissions by 2,200 tons.
In 2022, Beko assembled a formal 11-member council of leading kitchen and home designers, nutritionists, dietitians, and wellness experts to define and create what a Healthy kitchen is. The council advises Beko on product features and functionality, and new Healthy kitchen Council projects will be showcased on the Healthy kitchen landing page throughout the year.
To demonstrate the Healthy Kitchen and provide inspiration for future buildouts, Beko is working with select U.S. homeowners to document the creation of Beko Healthy Kitchens featuring Beko appliances and design practices that promote health, wellness and sustainability.
