FAQ's

How do I replace the anti-scale cartridge on my iron?

The built-in anti-scale cartridge is designed to reduce limescale build-up that occurs over time. This will prolong the lifespan of your iron. The cartridge must be replaced after every 30 litres of water has been used up.

Most Beko steam generator irons have an indicator light to signal when the cartridge needs changing. Please use cartridges sold by authorised dealers and service centres only.

Remove the new cartridge from its package. Soak it in water for about one minute to enhance its performance. Unplug your iron and let it cool down before removing any parts. Press and release to remove the old cartridge from the slot and push the new one in.

For more information on installing the anti-scale cartridge, please consult your user manual. If you’re having trouble finding your manual, download it here using your product’s model number.

Always keep your iron out of the reach of children.

Will my iron automatically turn off if it's not being used?

Your iron will automatically turn off if stationary for 30 seconds in the horizontal position and 7 to 10 minutes in the upright position.

Steam generator irons will turn off automatically if the iron is stationary or if no buttons are pressed for 10 minutes.

How quickly will my iron be ready to use after plugging it in? How long does it take for an iron to heat up?

Depending on the set temperature, most modern irons heat up in just a few minutes. Once you plug in your iron and adjust the temperature, the thermostat indicator will light up. Your iron will be ready to use when the light turns off.
