REMINDER TO CHECK AND ENSURE THE SAFE INSTALLATION
OF DOUBLE-INLET GAS COOKERS
We value the trust that our customers place in us and care deeply about our responsibility toward you. As a responsible manufacturer, we want to ensure that your product is installed correctly and safely, according to the instructions in the owner’s manual. An improperly connected gas range can put you and your household at serious risk of harm, such as fire or explosion, from potential gas leakages.
There is no cause for concern if you have a gas appliance in your home that has been installed by an authorized and qualified technician in accordance with the instructions in the manual. Our strong recommendation to all customers is that an authorized and qualified technician always install gas appliances following the manual.
We recommend the following home inspection if your installed gas stove has two gas inlet pipes, as shown in the picture below.
HOME INSPECTION FOR DOUBLE-INLET GAS COOKERS
1. Turn off the electricity in your property from the electrical panel (fuse box)
2. Turn off the main gas valve in your property
3. Slowly and carefully pull your gas cooker forward to have a clear view of the back of the cooker
4. Identify the unused gas inlet on the back of your gas cooker
5. Check that the unused gas inlet is closed with a metal cap, as shown in the picture below
If the unused gas inlet is sealed with a metal cap, as shown in the picture above, your gas cooker has been installed correctly, and you can continue using your product confidently.
If the unused gas inlet is not sealed with a metal cap or is closed with a protective plastic plug, your product has been installed incorrectly. In this case, do not use the product until a qualified technician has corrected the installation. You should also ensure that the main gas valve in your property remains closed.
