META
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited ("Meta Ireland") provides us with an audience-creation service and a tracking technology (pixel) through which personalised advertisements or web forms — through which users can subscribe to commercial communications from our brands — are displayed on the social network.
For these processing activities, we are the controller, while Meta is our data processor and a data processing agreement has been concluded. The pixel (known as the Facebook Pixel) tracks your behaviour and interests on the website, transmits these to Meta Ireland, and displays to you — including by combining information already held about you — interest-based advertising for our products (known as Website Custom Audience) or web forms for subscribing to commercial communications (known as Lead Ads), either to you or to Meta Ireland users who share common or similar characteristics/interests to you (known as Lookalike Audience).
For the processing carried out jointly in order to show you the above-mentioned advertisements or web forms, we and Meta Ireland act as joint controllers, and for this purpose we have concluded a joint controller agreement setting out our respective responsibilities for compliance with our obligations under the GDPR (available at the following link). Under this agreement, we are responsible for providing you with the information referred to in Articles 13 and 14 GDPR, while Meta Ireland is responsible for responding to your requests to exercise the rights referred to in Articles 15–20 GDPR in relation to the personal data stored by Meta Ireland after processing. In any case, you may direct your access requests or the exercise of your rights in relation to processing carried out as joint controllers to either joint controller.
Beko and Meta Ireland act as independent controllers of your personal data that you provide via the web form through which you subscribe to commercial communications (Lead Ads Service). In addition, Beko uses Meta Ireland's Meta Ads Manager service, through which we send targeted marketing communications on Meta's social media platforms based on selected criteria made available by Meta Ireland.
For transparency purposes, we note that we have no access to the identity or other information of Meta users to whom the marketing communications are displayed. The contact details of Meta Ireland and its data protection officer, as well as further information on how Meta Ireland processes your personal data (including the applicable legal basis and how you can exercise your rights in relation to Meta Ireland), can be found at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy.
GOOGLE
Google LLC (or its subsidiaries) provides to Beko, within the scope of Google Ads services, with tracking technologies through which personalised advertisements or web forms for subscribing to commercial communications are displayed by Google LLC within its services.
These tracking technologies (remarketing pixel and Google Analytics integrated with Google Ads) track your behaviour and interests on the website and transmit the relevant information to Google LLC. Google LLC may show you — including by combining information it already holds about you — advertisements for our products personalised based on your interests (known as Remarketing), or web forms through which you can subscribe to commercial communications (known as Lead Form), either to you or to Google LLC users who have characteristics and/or interests similar to yours.
For the processing described above (including the processing of your personal data that you provide via the web forms (Lead Form Service)), Beko and Google LLC act as independent controllers. The contact details of Google LLC and its data protection officer, as well as further information on how Google LLC processes your personal data, can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
TIK TOK
TikTok Technology Limited provides our company with tracking technologies (TikTok Pixel) and advertising, remarketing, creating custom audiences (Custom Audiences), and audience expansion services (Lookalike Audiences), through which personalized video advertisements are displayed on the TikTok social media platform based on your interests and browsing behaviour on our website.
Through the TikTok Pixel technology, information relating to your actions on the website (such as product views) is transmitted to TikTok in order to optimize our marketing campaigns, measure their effectiveness, and display Remarketing/Retargeting advertisements for our brands' products.
We may also use Custom Audience services (through the secure transmission of contact data) and Lead Ads services (web forms used to subscribe to our commercial communications), which may be displayed either to you or to TikTok users who share common or similar characteristics and interests with you (services known as Lookalike Audience).
For the purpose of collecting and transmitting data through TikTok Pixel, we and TikTok Technology Limited act as joint controllers and have entered into a specific agreement that defines each party's responsibilities in accordance with the GDPR. We also use TikTok Ads Manager services to deliver targeted advertising content based on demographic and interest-based criteria made available by the platform, acting as independent controllers for the subsequent processing activities. Detailed information about how TikTok processes your personal data can be found in TikTok's Privacy Policy https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy>.
