FAQ's

If your range or wall oven is cooking or baking your food unevenly, it may need temperature calibration.

Use an oven thermometer to see if calibration is required. Place the thermometer inside the product and set your oven to a temperature of your choice. After around 30 minutes, check the thermometer to see if it’s showing the temperature you set.

If your range or oven is running hot or cold, it needs calibration. Please contact an authorized service agent to have your appliance calibrated.

Every Beko product has a unique serial number.

In Range Cookers, it's located on the top wall of the inside frame. Please see our video that shows how to find it.

In Wall Ovens, it’s located behind the door, on the bottom of the inside frame.

It’s normal for your range or oven's fan to run for a while after it has been turned off. This helps cool the product and its electrical controls. It’ll stop automatically once the product has cooled down.

The oven light is a special bulb that can resist high temperatures. Before replacing it, make sure that your oven is off and cool. Consult your user manual to locate the bulb. If you’re having trouble finding your manual, download it here using your product’s model number.

Remove the lamp cover and the bulb by turning them counterclockwise. Replace light bulb with the same type as specified in the user manual. Secure the bulb in position by turning it clockwise. Replace the cover and turn it clockwise too.

Check out our video to see how you can change the light in your Beko Range Cooker.

Yes, this is normal.

When gas burns, the primary combustion products are carbon dioxide and water in the form of steam. This causes some fogging as the oven heats up. Once the range cooker reaches the set temperature, the moisture will dissipate, and the fog will clear up. Foods that have high moisture levels like turkey and fish may cause more condensation than usual.

Gas ranges use igniters to start their burners. These igniters make a ticking or clicking sound that’ll stop once the burners have started. If the igniter is moist, the sound may continue for longer.

If the clicking doesn’t go away, the ignition switch could be stuck. If you suspect that to be the case, contact an authorized service agent.

It’s normal for your range or wall oven to make a humming noise while it’s running or right after you’ve switched it off. This is the sound of the automatic cooling fan which helps cool the oven and its electrical controls. The fan will run for a while after the oven has been turned off. It’ll stop automatically when the product has cooled down.

If your appliance isn’t operating normally while making this noise, contact an authorized service agent.

The range/oven light is a special bulb that can resist high temperatures. If your range/oven is connected to a working outlet but the light is not working, the bulb may be defective or may have blown. If the bulb’s glass is dark, it’s probably blown and needs to be replaced.

Before replacing the light bulb, make sure your range/oven is off and cool. Refer to your user manual to locate the bulb. If you’re having trouble finding your manual, download it here using your product’s model number.

Remove the lamp cover and the bulb by turning them counterclockwise. Replace the light bulb with the same type as specified in the manual. Secure the bulb in position by turning it clockwise. Replace the cover and turn it clockwise too.
