How to Clean the Door Seal of Your Tumble Dryer

Keeping the door seal (gasket) clean is essential for preventing mold and ensuring an

airtight closure. Here's how to clean it properly:

Step 1: Prepare a Cleaning Solution

Use a non-abrasive detergent mixed with water and gather a soft sponge or cloth.

Step 2: Wipe the Outside Surfaces

Gently wipe the outside surfaces of the dryer door with a damp sponge or cloth to remove

any dirt or residue.

Step 3: Clean the Door Seal (Gasket)

Carefully clean around the door gasket (the rubber seal) using a damp sponge. Ensure

that you gently wipe away any lint, dust, or debris to maintain a proper seal.

Step 4: Dry the Seal

After cleaning, allow the door seal to dry or wipe it down with a dry cloth.

By regularly cleaning the door seal, you’ll prevent dirt build-up and ensure the tumble dryer

operates efficiently, maintaining a tight seal.
