Global Code of Conduct
The Global Code of Conduct and its related Policies were developed at Koç, Arçelik, and Beko Group – of which Beko Romania is a part – with the aim of implementing the highest ethical standards in the corporate environment and also to ensure that the way we conduct our business is aligned with both the Group’s values and the applicable legal framework in the countries where the Group, through its affiliated companies operates.
Accordingly, in response to requirements set forth by regulations issued at the European Union level, the European Whistleblowing Policy has been adopted.
You can report violations of the Global Code of Conduct and related Policies, applicable laws or regulations, or any irregularities you become aware of in a professional context, using any of the following internal reporting channels:
The Ethics Hotline is operated by NAVEX, an independent external provider that maintains confidentiality and complies with data protection regulations. Additional information on NAVEX privacy policies can be found here.
We use the NAVEX “Ethics Hotline” to manage whistleblower reports across all Koç Group companies (company list here), and it is necessary for reporting individuals to select the relevant company (select here).
Access to the NAVEX platform is restricted—only a few members of the legal and compliance teams of Koç Holding, Arçelik, and Beko Group can access all reports, based on a “need-to-know” principle. Local compliance officers have access only to cases from their own country and investigate those incidents.
Please note that the Ethics Hotline is not an emergency service and, therefore, this channel should not be used to report events that pose an immediate threat to life or private property.
Also, the Ethics Hotline is not intended for complaints regarding the Company’s products or services. For such matters, please use one of our communication channels listed in the Contact section.
Through the Ethics Hotline:
When reporting via the Ethics Hotline, you will be asked to provide only essential information that is not intended to identify you personally, such as: the country you are in (to ensure compliance with personal data privacy laws), and the country and city where the incident occurred (so NAVEX can correctly inform the responsible Compliance Officer).
To report violations concerning Beko Romania, please select “Arçelik-Beko” in the field “Select the relevant Koç Group company to which the incident relates” and “Beko Romania S.A.” in the field “Select the location where the incident occurred.”
Through the Ethics Hotline online form, you have access to a portal where you can track the progress of the case: you can view questions asked, responses received, as well as any comments or questions submitted by the company.
