How to Clean the Condenser of a Beko Tumble Dryer: A Step-by-Step Guide
To keep your Beko tumble dryer working efficiently, it's essential to clean the condenser
regularly. A clean condenser ensures optimal drying performance and prevents the dryer
from consuming excessive energy. Here’s how to clean the condenser of your tumble
dryer.
Step 1: Understand the Importance of Cleaning the Condenser
If the condenser is not clean, the drying performance reduces, and the drying time and
energy consumption will increase. Therefore, it's recommended to clean the condenser
after every 30 drying cycles or every 3 months.
Step 2: Open the Kick Plate
Press the kick plate button located at the bottom of the dryer to open the kick plate cover.
This will give you access to the condenser compartment.
Step 3: Remove the Condenser
● Locate the two red latches on either side of the condenser.
● Turn the latches to unlock the condenser.
● Carefully pull out the condenser from its housing.
Step 4: Clean the Condenser
● Take the condenser to a sink and clean the surface and fins of the
condenser under running tap water.
● If possible, use pressurized water to thoroughly clean the condenser, ensuring that
all lint and debris are removed.
Step 5: Reinsert the Condenser
● Once cleaned, allow the condenser to dry slightly if necessary.
● Place the condenser back into its housing.
● Turn the latches to lock it securely in place.
Step 6: Close the Kick Plate Cover
After the condenser is secured in its place, close the kick plate cover by pressing it back
into position.
By following these steps, you can ensure that your dryer continues to operate efficiently,
saving energy and reducing drying times. Regular condenser maintenance will prolong the
life of your appliance and help it perform at its best.
