How to Install the Drain Hose on a Beko Washing Machine

Proper installation of your washing machine’s drain hose is crucial for its smooth operation

and to prevent water leakage. This step-by-step guide will help you install the drain hose

for your Beko washing machine easily.

Step 1: Identify the Drain Hose Position

Start by locating the drain hose at the back of your Beko washing machine. This is where

you will connect the hose to the waste pipe.

Step 2: Insert the Drain Hose into the Waste Pipe

Carefully insert the drain hose into the waste pipe. It’s important not to insert the hose

more than 15 cm
into the waste pipe to prevent it from coming loose or leaking. Make sure

the connection is secure but not forced.

Step 3: Check the Height of the Drain Hose Connection

The height of the drain hose is another critical factor to avoid drainage issues. Ensure that

the water drain hose is connected at a height of between 40 cm and 100 cm
. If the hose

is too low or too high, it may affect the washing machine's drainage function.

Step 4: Use an Extension Hose if Needed

If your drain hose isn’t long enough to reach the waste pipe, don’t worry. You can use

an extension hose up to 3.2 meters. This will give you the flexibility to position the

machine at a distance from the drain without risking leakage or improper water flow.

Step 5: Secure the Hose to the Plastic Holder

Finally, fix the drain hose to the plastic holder located at the back of the washing

machine. This will prevent the hose from clinking against the machine and reduce noise

during operation.

By following these simple steps, you’ll ensure your Beko washing machine’s drain hose is

correctly installed, avoiding unnecessary leaks and noise issues.
