How to solve problems when my tumble dryer is not working?

If your Beko tumble dryer is not working, follow these troubleshooting steps to identify and

resolve common issues:

1. Check the Electrical Connection

Avoid Using an Extension Cable: Always plug your tumble dryer directly into a wall

socket, as extension cables may cause power issues.

Test the Power Socket: Plug another device, like a lamp, into the same socket to

ensure it is working.

2. Check the Door and Program

Ensure the Door is Properly Closed: If the door is not fully closed, the tumble dryer

will not start.

Start the Program: Make sure you have selected the correct program and pressed

the start button. If buttons are not responding, check the settings or troubleshoot

the child lock (see below).

3. Check Direct Drainage Connection

Inspect the Drainage Hose: If your tumble dryer is connected to a direct drainage

system, check that the drainage hose is not tangled, twisted, or kinked, which

could prevent the dryer from functioning properly.

4. Child Lock Activation

Check for Child Lock: If the child lock is activated, all buttons will be disabled, and

the machine will not start.

5. Check the Delay Timer

Check if the Delay Start Feature is Activated: If the delay start option is active, the

tumble dryer will not begin the cycle until the set time has passed.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and resolve most issues with

your Beko tumble dryer. If the problem persists after trying these solutions, contact Beko

customer service or a technician for further assistance.
