A chicken salad with low calories
We all have those indulgent days that we eat a little too much , especially on holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and birthdays. This recipe is the perfect remedy after an overindulgence, being high in protein and low in calories.
This chicken salad dish is a nutritious option, with the chicken providing protein and the salad packed with nutritious vegetables. The light and refreshing dressing complete the dish, and it can be enjoyed on its own or over a bed of greens.

Ingredients:
100 g peeled wheat
1 chicken breast
½ cup peas, cooked
1 ears of corn, cooked
½ cup pickle cucumber, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
½ cup fresh dill, chopped
1 L water
1 tbsp salt
For the dressing;
1 cup unflavored yoghurt
½ lime juice
1 clove garlic
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Step by step
Bring it to a boil 1L water in a pot, add salt, reduce the heat and cook chicken breast for 20 minutes.
Rinse peeled wheat. After 20 minutes, take out the chicken breast and, add peeled wheat in the same water, add 500 ml more water. Close the lid, and simmer for 30 minutes.
Shredded to chicken.
Cut corn seeds from the cob with a knife.
Drian wheat after 30 minutes and rinse on cold water. Take the wheat in a large bowl and add chopped vegetables, peas and corn seeds.
Blend dressing Ingredients in a blender for 2 minutes. Add dressing to the pasta bowl and toss well.
Potion wheat mixture to two serving bowls. Sprinkle fresh dill and serve it. Enjoy!
