It is easy to maintain your Beko washing machine. With a bit of weekly routine and a short monthly task, your machine stays in good condition and keeps wash day easy.
Quick-start care: weekly and monthly
• After finishing a wash, leave the door and detergent drawer open for about 30 minutes.
• Use a soft cloth to wipe the rubber door seal and the inside of the door.
• Use laundry bags for small items, like baby socks. Make sure to close zips and empty pockets.
• Monthly task: take the detergent drawer out and wash it with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry it before putting it back.
• If your model comes with the Drum Clean programme, use it. If not, use a machine cleaner with a hot cycle and without laundry.
Monthly Pump Filter Cleaning:
1. Turn off, then unplug the appliance.
2. Position a shallow tray and a towel under the cover of the filter.
3. Slowly turn the screw of the filter cap and open it.
4. After the water drains, remove the threads and any items like coins or thin plastic.
5. Ensure the impeller spins freely behind the filter.
6. Close and screw the cap back on and run a short rinse cycle.
Loading the Appliance for Optimal Functionality
• Adjust the feet of the appliance so it is firmly level to the floor. A spirit level will assist in this.
• In the drum, mix large and small pieces. Take care to ensure sheets and duvet covers are no t clumped together.
• Refer to the user guide or product page for the maximum specified load to avoid overfilling the drum.
Instructions for Optimal Cleaning Results
• Correctly measure detergent in relation to water hardness and level of soiling.
• Select an appropriate program in relation to the type of thick fabric and level of soiling. If the fabric is soiled heavily, do not overdose detergent, but use a prewash/soak instead.
• In areas with hard water, use a limescale remover as per the manufacturer’s guidance. Do not combine different cleaning products.
Inspections Done Seasonally and Yearly
• Check for kinks or wear on the inlet hose and hose
• Ensure the drain hose is correctly positioned and secured as indicated in your installation guide.
• Vacuum the dust and clean the area around the filter and kickplate.
• Follow the winter care instructions in your user manual if your washer is in an area that gets cold.

If your Beko washer is compatible, you can use the HomeWhiz app. Depending on your model and region, you can operate some settings from your phone or tablet, check your active cycles and receive notifications when your cycle is finished.
